Read to Feed @ EBPLCS

We are going on a journey - will you help us out?

We are asking tutors, friends, and families to contribute to our summer reading program by pledging or donating any amount (a quarter, a dollar, or more) to a community account that we will encourage our community of readers to match with books they read together this summer. At the end of summer programs, using our pooled contributions, our students will decide what type of livestock they can buy for families in need.

You can check-in on our Read to Feed fundraising progress using our official Heifer International page or by following our Facebook page where we'll post updates from our reading board in the big room.

Ways to Support our Community of Readers

Contribute online - Stay in touch by going online to www.ReadtoFeed.org to find and join El Buen Pastor’s online fundraising page. As a part of our team, you can track the progress toward the goal set by our students and you can spread the word via e-mail or social media.

Contribute in person-

Share your information by printing off this enrollment form and returning it to El Buen Pastor LCS by mail or bringing it to the office. (Note: All sponsors who give online will receive a receipt from Heifer International for their contribution and those who donate to El Buen Pastor LCS will receive a letter from EBPLCS.)
Encourage our students to reach their reading goal by volunteering with our summer tutoring program. Each student will have a book reading list to track their progress during tutoring.
Keep connecting by asking our students about Heifer’s work in the field and the benefits that animals can provide to families around the world. We will be reading stories together this summer a bout the communities and children that Heifer International supports.
