There are many ways to become involved and stay involved in the community at El Buen Pastor LCS. You can learn more about volunteering, donating regularly or in response to specific requests, and collaborating as a community partner by reading below and clicking on links to additional information on our website.

Here are some of the other ways you can get involved in-person at El Buen Pastor:
Tutoring
Tutor elementary students
Tutor 6th - 12th graders (later in the day)
Tutor adults in ESL class
Provide support staff help:
office work, creating bulletin boards, preparing classroom materials, creating holiday favors/crafts/gifts, help organize the Family Reading Room
Serve as a photographer for special events
Lead short-term enrichment classes for children or adults – dance, art, music, exercise, computers, etc.
Spanish/English translator
Give a seminar to children and/or adults about a topic that's important to you and our community
Help with toy-making crafts for the parenting class
Give piano lessons
Be a college counselor
Tutor people taking citizenship class
Be a running club assistant or coach
Contact Anajahi Inoa (anajahi@elbuenpastorlcs.org) with any other volunteer ideas that you may have! All volunteers need to review these policies and complete a background check before coming to volunteer.
Please Note: Returning volunteers will need to complete the WSFCS Background check again using your saved account info. Directions for re-activating an existing application are located on the WSFCS' website on the “How Do I Volunteer” page. (Visit the WSFCS’ homepage, go to the “Parents & Community section”, then select "Volunteers" in the drop-down menu; click on the "How Do I Volunteer" link on the list of options on the left side of the page). Directions for re-activating an existing application are located in the 2nd bulleted section, along with the link to the registration/login page.
If you have lost your login/password, you can retrieve it by clicking on the “lost password” link on the volunteer login/registration page.
